Ernest "Ernie" Pollard is an English former professional rugby league footballer of the 1930s who at representative level has played for Great Britain, and England, and at club level for Wakefield Trinity, and Bradford Northern, playing at Stand-off/Five-eighth, i.e. number 6. Ernie Pollard's career came to a halt in October 1938 when he suffered a severe knee injury.[1]
