Eordaikos (fering from. The names were Irakli Ptolemaida and the other was PAS Ptolemaidas. Since 2003, the team is now known as Ptolemaida-Lignitirychoi and plays in the third division. The last part of the name comes from the main mining resource in the area, lignite. The present jersey color is blue with yellow (the yellow from Eordaikos and Blue from Irakli Ptolemaidas).
