Environmental Quality Improvement Act

The Environmental Quality Improvement Act is a United States environmental law that amended the National Environmental Policy Act of 1969.[1]

Among other provisions, the Act added additional responsibilities to the Council on Environmental Quality. The head of this council is appointed by the President and has cabinet status.
