Elekistra (Greek: Ελεκίστρα, also Ελικίστρα) is a Greek village located east-southeast of Patras. Elikistra had a 2001 population of 260 for the village and 1,378 for the municipal district. Elikistra is also in the municipality of Patras since the late-1940s. Elikistra is connected with the road linking Patras and Elikistra. Elikistra is located approximately 15 km east-southeast of downtown Patras and north of Moira.

Elikistra is situated in the southwestern part of the Panachaiko mountains. Its mountaintop is to the north-northeast. The area round Elikistra are made up of farmlands with groves and forests. The rest of the area are mountains and are mainly forested and a cliff lies to the east. Its main production are fruits including watermelon, melon, figs and vegetables including corn, tomatoes, potatoes, onions, cucumbers and others as well as dairy, livestock, olives and others. The majority of the population are based in other businesses as well as agriculture.
Houses were stone-built until the 1950s and did not surpass modern-style homes until the 1980s. It was linked with pavement in the 1980s. Most of the homes are abandoned today.
After World War II and the Greek Civil War, much of the population left for larger towns and cities especially the nearby Patras. The population decline slowed between the 1981 and the 1991 census, the population rapidly declined between the 1991 and the 2001 censuses.
