Electrocop is a 1989 video game developed by Epyx and published by Atari.
This video gamewas one of the first games developed for the Atari Lynx, and was released with the platform's launch.
From the game's opening: The Criminal Brain has kidnapped the President's daughter and you have to go save her. You, Electrocop, have to enter a fortress to save her with loads of robots to attack, doors to hack open and a few bonus games within the terminals to play while you wait. Electrocop was initially developed as a 3D sequel to Impossible Mission, but was later re-branded because the design had diverged so much. Amy Hennig was hired as the artist for the unreleased Atari 7800 version of the game, her first job in the industry[1]. The game's ending hinted at the possibility of a sequel, which was never made.
