Elana Amsterdam
Elana Amsterdam is a best-selling author, wellness expert and gluten-free authority living in Boulder, Colorado.[1] Her book, The Gluten-Free Almond Flour Cookbook, published by Random House in July 2009, went into its 5th printing just a year after its release. The book was also named one of the "Best Cookbooks of 2009" by The Denver Post.[2] Amsterdam has had a major impact on the gluten-free movement. She is the first person to author a book dedicated to the use of almond flour as a gluten-free alternative to wheat flour. As a result, Amsterdam has partnered with the California Almond Board. [3]
