Ekkaduthangal is a neighbourhood of Chennai city, Tamil Nadu, India. It is surrounded by Jafferkhanpet, Guindy, and Ramapuram.
The neighbourhood is known for the development of factories using CNC machines, including SAJ CNC Machining Centre, located near Olympia Technology Park. Harrisons Automation & Moulds are located behind the Olympia Tech Park. They manufacture automation equipment and plastic moulds for Hyundai, Ford, Tata Group, and Mahindra and Mahindra Limited. Located close to the Kathipara Junction and abutting the Guindy Industrial Estate, the region is experiencing rapid growth including technology parks, namely, Olympia Tech Park, Thamarai Tech Park and Virtusa and five-star luxury hotels such as Hilton Chennai. The Chennai Metro under construction also passes through Ekkaduthangal.
