Ed Mundell
Ed Mundell is a rock guitarist most notable for his work with stoner rock group Monster Magnet from 1992 to 2010. In 2011, it was announced that Mundell had formed a new project, 9 Chambers, with Greg Hampton (Alice Cooper, Lita Ford), Jorgen Carlsson (Gov't Mule bassist ), and drummer Vinny Appice (ex-Black Sabbath/Dio/Heaven & Hell).
Bio
Mundell grew up in New Jersey and is a founding member of the band The Atomic Bitchwax. In 1992, he replaced founding member John McBain as Monster Magnet's lead guitarist.".[1] His first recorded appearance with the band was 1993's Superjudge album. He played on seven Monster Magnet albums in total between 1992 and 2010. He left Monster Magnet in 2010 to "collaborate with new producers, songwriters and musicians".[2]
Mundell also plays lead guitar on The Glasspack track "Peepshow" from the album Bridgeburner, released on Small Stone Records in May 2004.[1]
