Eagleville is an unincorporated community in Yuba County, California. Eagleville is 1.25 miles (2.0 km) north-northeast of Strawberry Valley.[2] The community is in a rural area near the intersection of Yuba, Butte, and Plumas County lines. There is no post office. Elevation above mean sea level was listed as 3,757 feet (1,145 m).

History

Eagleville was settled about 1851 and named for the nearby Eagle Mine.[2]

Politics

In the state legislature Yuba County's Eagleville is located in the 4th Senate District, represented by Republican Doug LaMalfa, and in the 3rd Assembly District, represented by Republican Dan Logue. Federally, Modoc County's Eagleville is located in California's 2nd congressional district, which has a Cook PVI of R +13[3] and is represented by Republican Wally Herger.
