ET1 (Greek: Ελληνική Τηλεόραση 1) is the flagship television network of the ERT, the Hellenic Broadcasting Corporation. It was launched in 1966 as EIRT. It is mainly an entertainment channel that broadcasts various types of programming such as news, sports, cultural programmes, documentaries and children's shows. It was originally referred to as ERT, but when another network was launched (ET2) the name was changed to ET1.

On 19 August 2011, the Greek government announced that ET1 would stop broadcasting within 2011 as part of the government's restructuring of ERT due to the financial crisis.[1][2]
