DriverAgent.com

DriverAgent is a Windows driver scanning, detection, and update software published originally by Touchstone software. DriverAgent's software scans a user's computer and locates updates to the device drivers on that user's computer. This scan is free, and provides a list of the hardware currently installed in the computer. The company also offers a membership option, which provides users with links to download the appropriate driver files. DriverAgent provides links to the files on the original vendor's websites in addition to mirrors of the files on DriverAgent's own servers.

DriverAgent competes against similar products such as PC Pitstop, RadarSync, DriversHQ, DriverGuide, drivermagic, and others.

In June 2007, Driveragent owners Touchstone software, completed their acquisition of drivermagic from Doncaster based entrepreneur Glenn Bluff.

On April 10, 2008, DriverAgent announced that it would be acquired by Phoenix Technologies, Ltd.[1]

On July 1, 2008, Phoenix Technologies completed acquisition of Touchstone software.[2]
