The song talks about the book "The Lady of the Camellias" of the French novelist and writer Alexandre Dumas in the verse: << Prefiero aceptar la soledad, que ser la dama de las camelias y morir en la esquizofrenia >>.
On August 9, 2010 an unofficial music video was released in her YouTube account directed by Kerry Kendall.[3]
The official music video was filmed on October 23, 2010[4] at Lagunas de Zempoala.[5] It was premiered on February 1[6] through her account YouTube,[7] and on the next day on channel Ritmoson Latino in a half hour special that interviews were included with Belinda,[8][9] even though on iTunes was released on January 28, 2011.[10]
The video will tell about a story alongside with the song Amor Transgénico, a song dedicated to the gay people, to be released after Dopamina, and you have to see them both so you can understand the whole story.[11][12][5][4] the whole video will last 9 minutes.[4]
