Dolnje Brezovo is a small village on the left bank of the river Sava in the Sevnica municipality in central Slovenia. The area is part of the historical region of Lower Styria. The municipality is now included in the Lower Sava statistical region.[2]

The local church is dedicated to John the Baptist and belongs to the Sevnica parish. It was built in 1763 on the site of an earlier building with parts of the original nave incorporated into the new structure.[3]
