Diego Sebastião Soares Batista, or, as is known, Dieguinho is one attacking midfielder who plays for Nova Iguaçu.

Dieguinho disputed the Campeonato Carioca Segunda Divisão of the professional team in 2008, but has aroused the curiosity of great teams playing in Rio de Janeiro by the youth ranks of the club, also for being a great friend of Airton, also revealed the club.
Dieguinho arrived on loan until the end of 2009, with the right to renew for one year, after fighting the second division professional team in the Campeonato Carioca in 2008. He originally came to compete in the Campeonato Carioca Sub-20.
