The Dendryphantinae are a subfamily of jumping spiders that occur mainly in the New World. The females generally show paired spots on the abdomen, and the males often have enlarged chelicerae.[1] Females in this subfamily typically have S-shaped epigynal openings.[1]

Taxonomy

The inclusion of genera follows Joel Hallan's Biology Catalog, with the exception of Agassa, which is now grouped with Sassacus, and Xuriella, discovered in 2000.
