Dedni Dol is a settlement to the northwest of Višnja Gora in the Ivančna Gorica municipality in central Slovenia. The area is part of the historical region of Lower Carniola. The municipality is now included in the Central Slovenian statistical region.[2]

The local church is dedicated to Our Lady of Sorrows (Slovene: Cerkev Žalostne Matere božje) and belongs to the Višnja Gora parish. It dates to the 15th century with 18th, 19th and 20th century adaptations.[3]
