History

Making of Fireflight

Fireflight's guitarist Glenn Drennen and his wife, bassist Wendy Drennen first found Dawn at a graduation ceremony for Glenn's younger brother. Dawn was singing at the ceremony and Glenn and Wendy heard her sing and asked Dawn if she wanted to join their band. She agreed on the condition that they were a Christian band. But before Dawn had been added to the band, Glenn ran into a former high school classmate, Justin Cox, at a local store. He remembered that Justin played the guitar and asked if he wanted to start a band. He agreed and they had a drummer but later he chose to leave before they were signed so they went looking for another drummer and through a mutual friend they met Philip Shorb (Phee), who agreed to play the drums.

Early years

When she was younger, she lost a brother. She recently had another scare when her other brother developed a brain tumor. He went into surgery to get it removed and survived. Michele is her stage name. Her favorite song off of all of the Fireflight albums is Wrapped in Your Arms, from the Unbreakable album. Her favorite band is U2. She had half blonde and half dark purple hair for two years. Her favorite color is blue.
