Daniel Holdsworth (born 27 April 1984 in Perth, Western Australia) is an Australian professional rugby league player for the Salford City Reds in the Super League. He was previously with Bulldogs club in the National Rugby League (NRL) competition and he also previously played for the St George Illawarra Dragons. His position of choice is at five-eighth. With the departure of halfback Brent Sherwin, Holdsworth has moved into his position.

At the beginning of the 2008 NRL Season, Holdsworth has made a reputation for his goalkicking abilities by winning the goalkicking competition at the centenary of rugby league event and donated the $1000 prize for cancer research.

Daniel was a finalist in the Sexiest Man in League contest for 2006, where he finished fifth with 10% of the vote.

He has joined European Super League club Salford City Reds for 2010.[2]
