Daniel 'Dani' Guerrero Gómez (traditional Chinese: 哥里路; born 19 December 1981 in Santa Coloma de Gramenet, Barcelona, Catalonia) is a Spanish footballer who plays as a central midfielder.
Guerrero never played in higher than the third division in his country, making his senior debuts with local UDA Gramenet, and remaining three seasons with the club. Subsequently, he represented seven teams in as many years, always in that category and mostly in his native Catalonia.
In July 2011, after helping CF Badalona to the second position in Group III - no playoff promotion however, Guerrero joined Kitchee SC of Hong Kong, to take part in the 2011 Barclays Asia Trophy, as the team's regular midfield players Lam Ka Wai and Chu Siu Kei were summoned to the Hong Kong national team for the 2014 FIFA World Cup qualification matches against Saudi Arabia; there was a possibility he could remain with the club after the tournament if both parties agreed.[1]
