Daniel Jesse Boateng ( /ˈboʊtɛŋ/ boh-teng) (born 2 September 1992) is a Ghanaian footballer, who plays as a defender for Arsenal. He holds both a Ghanaian passport and a British passport.
Club career
Arsenal
Boateng joined Arsenal in September 2003 and progressed through the ranks. On 20 July 2009, he made his reserves debut in friendly against Lincoln.[2] He signed a professional contract with Arsenal in July 2010.[3] He made his competitive first team debut for Arsenal in the League Cup against Bolton.[4]
