Damyang County (Damyang-gun) is an county in Jeollanam-do, South Korea. Bamboo goods and strawberries are well-known local products.
Damyang is not to be confused with Danyang, which is located in eastern North Chungcheong Province.

Damyang is one of the northernmost places where bamboo is found on the Korean peninsula. The bamboo forests are well-known among Koreans. There are facilities such as the Bamboo Museum and Juknokwon (죽녹원), a park filled with green bamboo.
The roads in Damyang are also of note. They are lined with many Metasequoia trees. It was chosen as one of the most beautiful roads in all of Korea.[1]
The V Asian-Pacific Astronomy Olympiad took place in Damyang in October 2009.
