Dalel Singh Ror

Dalel Singh is an Indian volleyball player who was awarded the country's highest sporting honor, the Arjuna Award, in 1990.[1]

He was born the village of Amin, close to Kurukshetra. He picked up Volleyball at the Kurukshetra University and went on to become the Captain of the Indian national team. After retirement, he went back to academia and completed his doctorate from Panjab University, Chandigarh.

Currently, he is the Director of Physical Education and Sports at Kurukshetra University. He is the only person to have played for the national team for twelve consecutive years.
