The Daily News of Kingsport, Tennessee is a daily newspaper, one of two published in Kingsport. It began as a weekly newspaper called The Post; it was later renamed the Kingsport Post, then the Post-News. It began publication as the Daily News as a daily supplement to the Post (billed as "The World's Only Penny Daily Newspaper") on July 12, 1971.[1]
