Plot

The plot goes around a rough Japanese ex-con named Yamamoto Akuji. He had spent many years in jail and when he finally comes out, he finds out that Japan had been at war with some other country (the name of which is not mentioned) and Japan had lost. It ended up being transformed into a theocracy, in which a certain group of women rule in total tyranny. Akuji then starts a resistance group, in which he is the leader and he claims his right to torture and enslave his female troops. Through the Daiakuji series, Akuji and his rebels will fight the tyranny trying to restore the original government in Japan.
