Dahba

The Dahba are Jat clan found in the Punjab province of Pakistan.[1]

History and origin

The tribe claims shoodar ancestry of Hindu cast, and descent from one Khoga, a servant of the Mughal Emperor Akbar. Akbar is said to have given him a robe of owner and a gray (dahb in the local Punjab language) horse; hence the name.[1]

Distribution

They are serving in villeges as servents of zamindar families and Found mainly in Gujrat District and Potohar area Rawalpindidivision.
