DSBFirst is a Danish-British railway company that since January 2009 is an operator on the Oresundtrains, serving Denmark and southern Sweden. The company is an alliance between Danish DSB and British FirstGroup, its headquarters being located in Malmö, southern Sweden. From december 11 2011 DSBFirst will only operate in Denmark. The Swedish part of the Oresundtrain system will be operated by Veolia Transport.
Quality deficiencies in the provision of rail transport around Western Sweden by DSBFirst resulted in state agency Västtrafik, which oversees rail traffic operations in Western Sweden, giving DSBFirst a warning to get their act together.
DSBFirst has approximately 800 employees. CEO is Karsten Røn Andersen.
