Cycloastragenol is a saponin found in or derived from Astragalus[1]/Astragalus membranaceus.
It is used as a nutraceutical (e.g. TAT2) and seems to moderately increase telomerase activity and proliferative capacity of both CD4 and CD8 T cells.[2] In October 2010 Intertek/AAC Labs, an ISO 17025 internationally recognized lab, found the largest component of TA-65 to be Cycloastragenol.[3]
