The Men's 1km time trial (B&VI 1–3) at the 2008 Summer Paralympics took place on September 8 at the Laoshan Velodrome.[1]
The world record was broken during the event, by Anthony Kappes and his pilot, Barney Storey (Great Britain). They took 0.517 seconds off their previous world record set in 2007.
