Craig-Moffat Airport (IATA: CIG, ICAO: KCAG, FAA LID: CAG), also known as Craig-Moffat County Airport, is a public airport located two miles (3 km) southeast of the central business district of Craig, a city in Moffat County, Colorado, United States.[1]
Although most U.S. airports use the same three-letter location identifier for the FAA and IATA, Craig-Moffat Airport is assigned CAG by the FAA and CIG by the IATA (which assigned CAG to Cagliari-Elmas Airport in Cagliari, Sardinia, Italy). The airport's ICAO identifier is KCAG. [2] [3]
Craig-Moffat Airport covers an area of 277 acres (112 ha) which contains one asphalt paved runway (7/25) measuring 5,600 x 100 ft. (1,707 x 30 m).[1]
For the 12-month period ending August 29, 2005, the airport had 2,525 aircraft operations, 100% of which were general aviation.[1]
