Coppelion (コッペリオン ) is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Tomonori Inoue. The story follows three high school girls who have been genetically engineered to be impervious to radioactivity and sent to Tokyo after the city was contaminated by a nuclear accident.

Coppelion began its serialization in seinen manga magazine Weekly Young Magazine in 2008. As of August 5, 2011[update], 11 completion volumes have been published by Kodansha. The manga first appeared on Oricon best seller chart during the week of April 7–13, 2009 when Coppelion #3 ranked 29th.[1]
In September 2010, the 40th issue Weekly Young Magazine announced that an anime television adaption of the manga was green lighted. It was later cancelled indefidently due to the earthquake.[2]
