Conor McDonald is an Irish footballer who plays for Southern Stars in the Victorian State League Division 1.
Target man, strong as an ox, McDonald made the breakthrough to the Waterford United first team in 2006 but injury set him back.
On July 2007 he joined Kildare County on loan [1] playing only three games before announcing this retirement from the game.
McDonald has represented the League of Ireland for the Four Nations Tournament in Scotland in May 2007 [1]. He played in the matches against Wales and Scotland. He got on the score sheet against the Welsh [2].
Previously to that, McDonald was also part of the Irish Colleges National Football team that travelled to Italy in March 2007 [3]. Conor was also selected for the Irish University team for the World Championships to be held later on this year (2007) in Bangkok.
McDonald moved to Australia in 2010 and since February 2010 he has been playing as striker for Melbourne side Southern Stars.
