TheSports Association Football Colleferro is an Italian football club in the city of Colleferro (RM), which currently plays in championship Eccellenza.

History

The team was officially formed in 1937 under the name "Group Company Colleferro BPD", taken from the industrial center of the city. The uniforms reflect the colors people, red and black.

Season 1954/55 won the "amateur championship, after two matches, return with the Mestrina, held at Stadio Flaminio by Rome. That same year, coached by Masetti, was promoted in C Series, then a single round, overcoming two games on the Football Siena. At the end of next season, June 27, 1956, lost by 2 goals to 1 playoff for the Series B with Bari.

During its tenure in the series C 1950s, team Colleferro served several times as a partner of Rome in training matches on Thursday. They played several players who had played in more teams emblazoned (Scamos from the Pisa) Egidio Guarnacci from Rome and the Fiorentina and two appearances in National Caslino by 'Atalanta, Corrado Bernicchi by Sampdoria. Other players like Faliero Mucci, Bruno Di Giulio, Marozzi, Franco Matrigiani Enzo Bovani Franco Papi, Guido Moretti Andrea Caslino, later became coaches or club officers. The stadium in which Colleferro plays was named for Maurizio Natali, a footballer who died November 1, 1957, in a car accident after returning from traferta against the Foggia.

In the 1960s the team was relegated again in D Series (series IV), losing in the playoffs on several occasions promozionne series C.

In the 1970s the team changed its name to "Sport Group Colleferro Football" and continued to play in inter-series. It also developed the youth sector, which formed players after team passed more noble, as Mark Sangiorgi (Avellino), Massimo Sciarra (Ternana), Mauro Raffin (Sampdoria) and Claudio Brai and Maurizio Girardi (Lazio). In the 1980s and 1990s, the team played in the regional championship of Promotion, continuing to maintain a youth training, where they fought Giampaolo Saurin Simone Lucchini, Natale Gonnella and Cristian Biancone. The youth team in the category "students (coached by Franco Matrigiani) won the regional championships and one in category "Junior ", coached by Faliero Mucci, did the same season in 1986/87 and 1987/88, until reaching the semifinals of the national championship in their class.

Season 1999/2000 the Colleferro was promoted again in Excellence and 2001/02 was close to playoffs for a promotion Series D.

In 2003 the team changed its name again, this time "S. S. Colleferro Football" and was bought by the Mandovi, which has revamped the management team and introduced players to experience. The company also continues to play in the championships of the youth and also includes two groups (male and female) of Football 5.
