Chrysomyinae is a subfamily of Calliphoridae, or blow-flies. According to Keys of the Genera and Species of Blow Flies (Diptera: Calliphoridae) of America North of Mexico by Terry Whitworth, the distinguishing characteristic of this subfamily is a setose stem vein (Whitworth, 709). This subfamily includes the following genera: Chloroprocta, Cochliomyia, Chrysomya, Campsomyiops, Phormia, Protocalliphora, Protophormia, and Trypocalliphora.
