Chimaltitán is a municipality in the north of the state of Jalisco, Mexico. It is bordered on the north by the municipalities of Totatiche and Villa Guerrero, to the east by the state of Zacatecas, to the south by the municipality of San Martín de Bolaños and to the west by the municipality of Bolaños.
