Chicoreus regius, common name : the regal murex, is a species of sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusk in the family Muricidae, the murex snails or rock snails.[1]

This species occurs in the Pacific Ocean between Baja California and Peru (but not along the Galapagos Islands)
