Chendebji Chorten

Also called Chorten Charo Kasho the Chendebji Chorten was built in the 19th century by a Tibetan lama[1]. It is a Nepalese style stupa like Swayambhunath or Bodnath in Kathmandu, Nepal. According to the legend, it was built to cover the remains of an evil spirit who was killed there. It is located 41 km west of Trongsa in Bhutan at 2430 meters in elevation.
