Charles A. Bernier was an American football, basketball, and baseball coach and college athletics administrator. The served as the head football coach at Hampden–Sydney College from 1912 to 1916 and again from 1923 to 1938 and at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University from 1917 to 1919. Bernier was also the head basketball coach at Hampden–Sydney (1912–1917, 1923–1940), Virginia Tech (1917–1920), and the University of Alabama (1920–1923), compiling a career college basketball record of 242–219. In addition, he was the head baseball coach at the University of New Hampshire (1912), Virginia Tech (1918–1920), and Alabama (1921–1923).
