Chamnaka

Chamnaka is a Modren village in Abbottabad District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan. It is part of Mojohan Union Council and is located in an area that was affected by the 2005 earthquake. It is located on Lora Road. The views in this area are quite scenic due to the topography of the land. It is also call the heart of Neelan or Ninlan valley, known locally as the 'Queen of beautiful valleys, along this valley runs the Neelan stream. The origins of this stream are in the Nara Hills through which the streams seems to have cut the valley over time.The natural scenery is highly magnificent. You can travel by road from Abbottabad to Havelian City, which is about 45-Min Drive,and visitors coming from Islamabad can travel directly from Hari Pur to Havelian City, where you can make an hour stay for lunch or for refreshment & then to Lora, as restaurants are not available over there due to no development,it is about 40 -Min journey by car from Havelian to heart of queen Nillan vally over well-maintained road.

The village due to its developmental growth, has been one of the most modern area in District Abbottabad. A well connection of roads, a proper system of drainage, Telephone facilities, Power services are available, Police Station and Town management are efficiently working. The people of this village are quite simple, politically active and hospitable. Nationalism is one of the most influential factors of the peoples in this village. Most of the people's profession is agriculture. Maize and wheat are the most cultivated crops of the area. Education has made great progress in the village in last 10 years and that is why schools have increased both in Public and Private sectors. In sports, volleyball and naiza bazi (tent peging) are the dominant game played here. Other associated areas predominantly areas are Hajia Galli, Chandomaira, Karach, Sumwala, Bodla, Jabri. Local Languages are Hindko (in jadoon areas) and pothwari (in karlal areas).
