Cevo (Séf in local camunian dialect) is an Italian comune of 969 inhabitants[1] in Val Camonica, province of Brescia, in Lombardy.

Geography

It is bounded by other communes of Saviore dell'Adamello and Berzo Demo. Located near Valle Camonica near the slopes of Adamello.

History

On April 22, 1644 The country Cevo was almost completely burned to the fall of a thunderbolt.

On July 3, 1944, the country is burned Cevo in retaliation against the partisans. houses are totally destroyed, 48 damaged and 12 others looted, were killed 6 people. Out of a population of about 1,200 residents were as many as 800 homeless.
