Central Jersey Spartans
Central Jersey Spartans is an American soccer team based in Lawrenceville, New Jersey, United States. Founded in 2009, the team plays in the USL Premier Development League (PDL), the fourth tier of the American Soccer Pyramid, in the Mid Atlantic Division of the Eastern Conference.
The team plays its home games at Falcon Field in nearby Hillsborough, New Jersey, where they have played since 2011. The team's colors are blue, white and gold.
History
The Central Jersey Spartans were announced as PDL expansion team in November 2009.[1] They played their first official game on May 12, 2010, a 2-0 loss to Newark Ironbound Express.[2]
