The Central Bank of Syria (Arabic: مصرف سورية المركزي‎) is the central bank of Syria. The bank is located in Damascus with branches in major cities. The US, EU, Arab league and Turkey all imposed Sanctions on the central bank because of Syria's crackdown on the opposition. ^[1] ^[2]
