The Calico (or Elisa) Pennant (Celithemis elisa) is a dragonfly found in North America, in the Pennant genus of dragonflies.
Flight period is late May to early August. Its average length is 1.2 in (3.0 cm).[1] Males have red heart-shaped markings dorsal side of abdomen, yellow in females. Wings have three red areas: one at the tip, one in the middle and one large area close to the body.
