Cavriago is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Reggio Emilia in the Italian region Emilia-Romagna, located about 70 km northwest of Bologna and about 8 km west of Reggio Emilia. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 9,229 and an area of 17.0 km².[1]

The municipality of Cavriago contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Case Nuove, Corte Tegge, and Quercioli.

Cavriago borders the following municipalities: Bibbiano, Reggio Emilia.

Cavriago is one of the very few places in Western Europe where a monument to Vladimir Lenin stands.

The post-rock band Giardini di Mirò hails from Cavriago.
