History

The station opened in 1890, 18 years after the Woods Hole Branch of the Old Colony Railroad was created.[1] The gingerbread structure was destroyed by a fire in 1925 and subsequently replaced.[1] The building still stands today[1], and was still in use as late as 1982 under the Cape Cod & Hyannis Railroad.
