CaspioNet

CaspioNet is the first satellite TV channel of Kazakhstan. It is run by the Khabar news agency. Its name reflects the intention to broadcast information about the entire Caspian Sea region.[1]

CaspioNet broadcasts started on October 25, 2002 and can be viewed in Europe, Central Asia, Middle East and northern Africa. CaspioNet broadcasts in three languages, Kazakh, Russian, and English.[1]

Satellites: Intelsat 904 (Katelco Plus), Eutelsat (SESAT), Astra 3A (Kabel Deutschland), Hot Bird 8 , and as of November 2011 Galaxy 19 97 West[2]
