Casey Shea is an American songwriter and singer. Born in Louisiana, he currently lives in New York.[1]

Shea was born 27 November 1979 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. His family moved to Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida in 1986.
Shea attended Florida State University. He is married to Langhorne Shea.[2]
After graduating from FSU, Shea moved to Nashville, Tennessee, to pursue a career in songwriting and singing. In January 2004 he moved to New York City. His debut solo album "Take The Bite" which blended Folk music, rock, and psychedelia was released in 2006, and he signed with indie label Family Records in 2007. During the first six months of 2009 he released one single each month. His song "Roll Your Windows Down" was featured on the Season 6 finale of the TV Show One Tree Hill. In July 2010 his song "Wave Of Walls", from the album "Love Is Here To Stay", was used on the episode "The Monster Within" of the ABC drama The Gates. In September 2010 his song "Good Man", from the album "Love Is Here To Stay", was used on the episode "The Space In Between" on season 8 of One Tree Hill. In August 2011, his song "Can't Get Enough" was used on the episode "The Benefit Of The Mute Button" on the first season of the NBC romantic sitcom Friends With Benefits.
He has been described by The New York Times as "hushed and hopeful."
Casey recorded a cover version of System of a Down's "Chop Suey!" for Engine Room Recordings' compilation album Guilt by Association Vol. 1, which was released in September 2007.[3]
In March 2010, Shea filled in for Joe Hawley of Tally Hall during Tally Hall's March tour with Jukebox the Ghost and Skybox.
