Cartoon Network (Germany)
Cartoon Network is a German television channel for children. It is based in Munich. Cartoon Network Germany is In German and English Audio. Cartoon Network Germany used to use the city bumpers, but now uses the box theme. Cartoon Network Germany is available in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Programming also airs on Pokito, RTL 2, kabel eins, ORF1, Super RTL and ProSieben. Cartoon Network rebranded on the 25th of November 2010 at 12:00.
History
Cartoon Network launched in Germany on September 3, 2005 as a Saturday morning programming block on kabel eins. In June 2006, a Boomerang Germany was launched and this was followed by the simultaneous launch of Cartoon Network Germany as a 24-hour channel and TCM Germany on December 5, 2006.[2]
