Carlos José Iturgaiz Angulo (born on 20 October 1965 in Santurce, Biscay) is a Spanish politician, a member of the People's Party (PP).
He has been a Member of the European Parliament since 2004. He currently is a member of the group of the European People's Party (Christian Democrats).

He first studied extinct languages and then became qualified teacher of accordion.
He is vice-chairman of the Committee on Petitions (PETI) since 16 July 2009 and of the delegation for relations with the countries of Central America since 16 September 2009. He has been the chairman of the delegation for relations with the Maghreb countries and the Arab Maghreb Union (including Libya) from 27 February 2008 until 13 July 2009.
Since 16 September 2009, he has been a substitute for the delegation for relations with the countries of Southeast Asia and the ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations). Since 20 January 2010, he is a substitute for the Committee on Fisheries.
