Carlos Antonio Aguiar Burgos or simply Carlos Aguiar (born December 19, 1978 in Montevideo) is a Uruguyan footballer. He currently plays for C.D. Huachipato.

On 24 April 2009 he has asked for the termination of his contract and is leaving Académica de Coimbra, the Uruguaian midfielder is now a free agent and will return home.[1]
He also holds Italian citizenship. Carlos is the brother of another professional footballer Luis Bernardo Aguiar.
