Candover Investments plc (LSE: CDI) is a British-based private equity firm, specialising in arranging and leading large buyouts and buyins. Candover Investments is structured as an investment trust. Investments in buyouts are provided in two forms, from Candover Investments and more significantly from third party funds raised and managed by Candover Partners Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Candover Investments. Candover Investments is listed on the London Stock Exchange and is a former constituent of the FTSE 250 Index. On August 31st 2010 Candover announced that it would unwind its assets and return money to shareholders and investors.[1]
